Bali International School offers a wide range of services to support student learning. Some of these services are operated by the school while others are out-sourced and overseen by BIS for quality control.

For example:

BIS works with a number of local restaurants from the Sanur community that provides students and teachers alike with wholesome and tasty meals for lunch.
BIS works with an outsource provider for the ordering and production of the school uniforms, PE clothing and swimming suits.
We have a nurse on site from 7.30am to 5 pm daily, and upon request for special events on Saturdays.
Other services, such as transportation (bussing), are currently under review for implementation, and BIS provides said services on demand.

In 2008 BIS created and operates a community library for local children called Taman Bacaan. Each day it is filled with kids from the local banjar who come to read stories in Indonesian and English, as well as learn through using technology and educational games.

There are several international schools to choose from in Bali, and some do cater for very different children. BIS has always been our number one choice due to the academic profile and the social approach and involvement in the community. It is a small school but offers all 3 programs of PYP, MYP and IB. Not knowing where our child will to go study outside of Bali, BIS is the place with most open doors and the flexibility needed for different continents. Having said that, at BIS, students are also involved in many social projects, sports competition, so it has a variety, which not only makes it an "academic" place.
